Wow. When Mike and I first got engaged, we initially set our wedding date for 5/20/2011. We chose a beautiful outdoor venue and started lining up vendors.....about 2 weeks into it, we were both sick and tired of planning for a "big" wedding, so we decided to do a much smaller, more intimate venue. With the blessing of both sets of parents, we moved our wedding date to 8/8/2010. The planning is definitely going a little easier since we don't have a huge expanse of time looming in front of us, but the typical things that happen with weddings are happening here and it drives me up a wall!
Michael is a big help - more so than most grooms. He has a lot of wonderful ideas and listens to me vent about the process. I am so blessed to have such a wonderful partner in all of this!
So that's that! I just wanted to get that out there! Short, sweet and to the point! - I just wish the wedding planning was following suit!
I for one, think you should get that cake topper.
