This girl has been busy! I am so sorry that it took me this long to post after my move! I have been running non stop since my feet hit the Tennessee soil! I will post on all of those happenings later, but I wanted to get started with the most important thing - my new home!Above is my vanity - I share a bathroom with my room mate Caitlyn and figured it would be easier to do all of my primping in my own domain, so here is my little nook! It has actually worked pretty well! I am looking for a little make-up chair to put in front of it. My Grandma Burdick used to have a certain one in front of her vanity and I loved it as a child - maybe I can replicate it!
This is the view from my 2nd story window. I just love to throw the shutters open in the mornings and look at the beautiful scenery that God has bestowed upon me! That is most of the reason why I made the 1100 mile journey up here! I am so excited for Fall and you can be sure I will document the changes and post the pics here!
This is my desk - I need to take another picture showing how beautiful the desk itself is! The top is a darkish brown wood and the ornate bottom has been whitewashed. So dramatic and so very Rosemary! As you can see, I like to be surrounded by beauty, so lots of pretty things found their home here on or around the desk!
And finally - my bed! I love love LOVE my bed! My wonderful weekend neighbors in Rockport - Larry and Teresa - bought my entire bedding set for me! I love the bedspread! It looks like the "pick ups" they put on wedding dresses! And I had to add the Gone With the Wind pictures above the bed for good measure! Can't deny that Southern Heritage!
And here is the bed in the morning light. So pretty and soft. I am a blessed woman. I have good friends and family, a good life and a beautiful room. What more could a girl want?
It all looks great! I am glad to see you so happy with your move!
