There's a certain ring to it!

Last night, Michael proposed! I knew it was coming since we had designed the ring together,but just wasn't sure when to expect it!!

We went to Austin last week for my cousin Sally's wedding. It was absolutely amazing! The weather was perfect and I got to see a lot of my family! Mike was able to meet my parents and little brother while we were on the trip.

The last morning that my parents were in Austin, we met them at a diner and after we had all eaten breakfast, I went to the Ladies Room. While I was gone, Michael pulled out the ring and showed my family and proceeded to ask for my parent's permission. My parent's happily gave their consent and blessings!

Mike and I flew back to Knoxville the next day and went back to our normal lives. Knowing the the ring was ready to go on my finger and that all I needed to do was answer one little question became unbearable! I was worse than a kid at Christmas!

I had begun to think that Mike was going to take his sweet time in asking and I gave up being excited.....well, I decreased my level of excitement by a point! So we were getting ready to go to bed on Wednesday night and I come around the corner and there is Michael down on one knee! He totally caught me off guard! He finally asked me the question that I had been pining to hear and of course I said yes! I am the happiest girl in the world right now!

We have no idea when we will get married - sometime between now and the Fall of 2011. We do not know where the wedding will be or how big it will be or what the colors are or anything else! But what we do know is that we have each other and that's all we need for right now!
