First, we start with the Cioppino we had in Cinque Terre. It was fresh and fabulous and hit the spot on the dreary rainy day we encountered while there. You could still taste the seawater on the fish and shrimp and mussels and the chunks of bread were perfect for sopping up the broth!

This is literally the best tomato soup in the world - the tomatoes that were used were SOOOOO fresh! The dash of olive oil on top was amazing and the bread in the middle was a perfect ending to a wonderful soup.....I long for that soup now!

This is a shrimp, calamari and mussel dish that we had while we were visiting Venice! So fresh and exquisite! And the lemon? That half lemon was the size of half of a softball!

Baby Shrimp salad in Venice - even though these guys were small, they packed an amazing amount of flavor!

And finally - one of my all time favorites! Tomato Caprese salad with buffalo mozzarella! Yummmmmmm...the mozzarella was so fresh and well made and the tomatoes were juicy and crisp and succulent! I loved every bite of this!
So is your mouth watering yet? Mine is from all of the fantastic memories of the wonderful food!
