I know that I haven't posted in a while, but I thought that I would show some highlights from our first Christmas Season as a Newlywed Couple!
I began nesting like a good Newlywed wife and made the wreath above for our front door. The grapevine is symbolic of the manger. The 3 roses are for the 3 wisemen and the 3 apples are for the gifts they gave. The circle of the wreath is the Alpha and Omega. I think it is beautiful and am quite pleased with myself!
Here is my lovely husband on Christmas Day! We spent the night at his parent's Farm and had a nice morning eating and opening gifts! This is Michael with our first Nutcracker - an Octoberfest Nutcracker! How fitting!
And here we have Marley and her Doppelganger. We found this planter in Asheville NC when we were up for Michael's birthday and we just could not resist. Marley is less than thrilled with her counterpart as you can see from the picture.
O Christmas Tree! I am so excited to have a real tree in our home! Growing up, we never had one since my mom is allergic. They smell so amazing and just give a wonderful completion! I wish it could stay up year round!
In the first picture, we are at Michael's annual B&T Christmas Party. This year it was held at Chez Liberty and it was so much fun! The food was divine and the wine and drinks were free flowing! We had an amazing time (can't you tell by the redness of our noses?:)
