It has finally happened....I have gotten sick. I haven't been sick beyond allergies in over 2 years. *sigh* I spent all day in bed yesterday drifting in and out of sleep while I watched The Tudors and other various shows. My sweet Michael brought me Mexican Chicken Soup from El Charro for lunch. He even indulged me by eating it in bed with me....and this was the beginning of the end. By the end of his business day, he was calling me to tell me that he felt achy and sniffly. So he picked up some ginger ale, frozen yogurt and ' The Social Network' and we laid in bed together sniffling and sneezing. Around 8:30 , the Cherry NyQuil bottle made an appearance and we both we out by 10:00. Sweet dreams.....
I woke up this morning feeling rested and full of energy....I walked to the kitchen to get Cheerios and Coffee and that little excursion wiped me out. So I guess it's back to bed, napping and television for this girl. I don't have to be at work until 2:00 tomorrow, so let's hope that my immune system will give preference to my wallet and let me feel up to going in.
