Sunkissed Spring

Spring has Sprung in Knoxville! After a long, gray winter, we are finally reaching warm, sunny days with cool breezes. We have been working on the house and spending a lot of time outside. Miss Marley Jane is supervising everything of course!

My favorite part of Spring is planting lots of flowers with beautiful blooms! I love pansies and this year went with a blue and purple theme. The Pansy Pots line our porch stairs and it is always such a welcome sight when I walk in our out everyday!
The pansies above are by far my favorite! The hue is something that I wish I could replicate all throughout my wardrobe!
And my little violas! They remind me of a children's choir - all bright and shiny faces pointed upward and smiling! Every day, they are reaching for the sun and basking in it's warmth.

This is one of the first views that Marley and I see on our morning walks. I always love seeing the Tennessee river sprawling out in front of us as we climb the first hill. And the mountains in the background are always breathtaking and remind me how small we are in God's big world.

It is absolutely gorgeous in Tennessee right now and Michael and I have been soaking up the sun as much as possible! Here we are in the middle of our cruise along The Dragon's Tail. We lucked out and had a convertible VW Eos for the weekend and just drove and drove until we were wind whipped and sunburned! Life is good.
