Lucy and the Carrot

Lucy tried carrots for the first time over the weekend! The night before we gave her the pureed version, I thought that I would warm her up by letting her gnaw on a baby carrot stick. It must have felt good on her gums since she held on to it until we pried it out of her hands for bedtime! I apologize for the poor picture quality, but I just had to share this picture of Lucy holding the carrot like a cigar! (This is a totally genuine shot - no parental posing here!)
