This past Saturday I went up to a YMCA in Humble to run a 9 hole putting course and driving cage for one of their Healthy Kids Days! I had a blast! I was a busy bee from start to finish. I showed kids how to putt and even attempted to show a few how to use a driver! Something I can't even do by myself! Somehow it worked - some of the parents even thought I was a teaching pro and asked where I gave lessons! All in all, it was a big hit! Unfortunately, we had to end it early due to tornado warnings. By the time I had loaded the suburban with the putting course and driving cage, I looked like a drowned rat!

The dogs and I saw one of these - A Texas Spiny Lizard today on our afternoon walk. I had never seen one before! I looked down and there he was! Needless to say, the three labs were most intrigued by him! I pulled a Wikipedia article up when I got home to see exactly what he was. I love this part of the description - "The Texas spiny lizard also has a peculiar habit when challenged by another male for their territory. The two males will have a push up contest, or so it seems. Both males will begin doing push ups until one of them gives up and runs away." I think this would be awesome if translated into Human behavior! Or maybe it already is......!
Oh my gosh! That is so funny about the push ups!
