Boston Trip - Chihuly Exhibit - Vases

Another part of the fantastic Chihuly Exhibit was a room full of his beautiful, unique vases. I have never seen anything like them and would do almost anything to have one in my house!
The detail on each vase was so intricate and absolutely amazing. I wish that I could have picked each one up and seen the details up close and felt the weight of the glass in my hands.

This one was so pretty - it had little silvery bubbles all throughout it - like it had been plucked from a moonlit garden on a Summer's night.

This one reminded me of the Bird of Paradise flowers that are found in the tropics. I am still so stunned that someone has these amazing visions and can execute them so well into glass!
The vase on the left reminds me of sea coral. I would not have been surprised to see a fish swim through it's arms. The pitcher on the right looks like it is about to pour pure silver.
And this one is one of my absolute favorites! The buds and flowers just spring into life in front of you! If this were sitting on my dining room table, I don't think that I would ever stop gazing at it!

More Chihuly to come!
